Climbers (Salary competitive based on experience):

  • At least 2 years proven climbing and industry experience

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication skills and customer service skills, positive attitude, self-motivated and with high attention to detail

  • Honesty, reliability, punctuality and well-presented

  • CS30/31/38/39 (CS40/41 desirable)

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Towing License (B+E or Pre97) preferred

  • Salary range £30k-38k

Administrative Assistant 

We are looking for a part time Administrative Assistant to join our busy Tree Surgery and Surveying business


The role will be to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including providing support to our managers and team members, assisting in daily office needs and working closely with our office manager to provide excellent customer service to both our commercial and domestic clients.


You should ideally have;

  • A positive and proactive work ethic

  • Be adaptable

  • Confident to work on your own and develop your preferred systems of work.

  • Happy to liaise within the company at all levels

  • Enthusiastic to work with teams of Tree Surgeons and Surveyors

  • Have a good general knowledge of office work and an interest in the natural world.

Any training required will be arranged to further your knowledge.


Please be aware that our office is dog friendly, with regular visits from various friendly canines, we are also based in an agricultural environment so expect some mud too!


Your duties will include:


  • Provide accurate detailed packs to ensure teams have preciseinformation

  • Use Xero package to provide quotes to clients, keep Excel spreadsheet of enquiries current

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports to inform managers’ decisions

  • Act as a point of contact for clients developing relationships in the long term

  • Answer and direct phone calls; organise and schedule appointments with the clients; call to progress quotes;

  • Maintain both physical and electronic filing system

  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures; ensure the vehicle and equipment checks have been carried out and recorded

  • Liaise with teams using WhatsApp

  • Order office supplies; research new deals and suppliers;organise machinery hire and raise purchase orders




  • Experience working in a similar role would be an advantage,

  • Knowledge of Windows applications and Xero Accounting Package is highly desirable

  • Ability to effectively manage a varied workload and deal with rapidly changing priorities

  • Ability to work accurately, using own initiative

  • Have excellent communication skills




  • Salary From £9.50/hour, paid weekly, rising with experience

  • 28 days' holiday including bank holidays

  • Flexible but regular working hours

  • Possibility of the role becoming full time as the business further develops
